Even before I left Wichita for after opening night, there was murmur about how good this Fiddler on the Roof was and that it was a shame it wouldn’t be performed elsewhere…or longer than one week!
I got word from the man in charge of it all that the reception has been “tremendous” and I couldn’t be happier. With so much experience under my belt now, I know the value I bring to these productions. As I’ve said before, I’ve seen others try and recreate it and it lacks everything that makes it good.
“There is a difference between performing a style and discovering it, and this mostly college-age cast was doing the latter; their excitement came across clearly.” -Shout Wichita
Here is just some of what the people have been saying:
“ Your Productions are always wonderful but this one was spectacular!! If you can get tickets your really need to do this for yourself! Please go!!”
“Fiddler is the best production so far this season!!”
Thank you to Music Theatre Wichita, Brian Marcum, Director Rob Schneider and The Jerome Robbins Trust for entrusting me with this opportunity.
