This was a long time in the making for designer, Diane Egenberg,
After a succesful first fashoin show, she went for round 2 and asked me to join her with something dance inspired. Slovak ballroom star, Vanda Polakova, joined with some dance moves, too.
We presented her current collection, which she collaborated on with a Slovak artist, with the blessing of our Consul General, Beatrice Szabova.
Afterwards, I spoke about my career in theater and choreography and spoke about my journey for dual citizenship by descent. A 2 year process and still going.
The evening was a hit and music followed.
There’s already rumors of taking this show on the road, but details are yet to be finalized. So stay tuned.
The Consulate General of the Slovak Republic pairs with many Slovak presenters and organizations. Each one is an incredible opportunity to meet new people, network within the Slovak community, and participate in the Slovak culture.
